Hello,
I was just wondering if there was some way to find out how many hours of gameplay, average daily hours, etc. one has.
-
for the 5 who have spent the longest in game yes, other than that not really.
-
You could keep a diary and write it all down :)
-
You can ask a GM. GMs can get to that information... Though I really don\'t see why it would matter... :\\
-
Actually it is nice to know how long one has played, as I keep forgeting when I\'ve joined.. I still don\'t know because I\'m lazy and I keep forgeting to ask one of the many GM\'s I know ^.^. *Feels special* I know.. No big deal, which is true :P (meant to insult the GMs I know, they know I mean them ^.^.) Just a joke there :P.
I would like to be able to check my own time as well, would be nice to check up on it once in a while without bugging GMs with such a little favor.
-
but why would you want to know... its how long you have played that matters.
if you want to know when you started at ps check the date on your registration email.
-
how long you play the game for is completely irrelevant, its what you do within that time to make a difference that matters.
instead of waiting for a nice big 1000 hours to tick over and celbrating it, you should be celbrating the success of an RP session.
capiche? D:

*shrugs*
Although I agree knowing doesn\'t really change anything I think it would be funny to look at it. More importantly why not if there are people who would like to know and it doesn\'t hurt anyone? ;)
-
Changing somethink, you change somethink else ;) It\'s universal law.
Although i can\'t see what would be bad consequences of knowing online time, it doesn\'t mean there are none :P.
We know that stats who have most duel points, or is the strongest serve rather rp destrictive purpose. I don\'t say online time stats would do similiar job, but i also don\'t see why we would need it above some rp feature.
-
Why would you want to have access to such depressing information?
-
some people just like to know I guess.
yes GM\'s can find out for you, if you ask them nicely ingame they might oblige.
I have no idea why we have a most active players top 5, or any other \'top 5\' \'s for that matter, it just... bleh, I\'m not going into that.
ask a GM ingame if you want to know how much time you\'ve spent staring at that trepor :P

Personally I like games that tell me how many hours I\'ve logged. For one I can look merely for my own amusement and think whoo! I\'m a loser! 67 Hrs in the last month alone! Well, with PS probabily significantly less - my role in our guild requires me to be out of game more than I\'d like.
-
I was just curious...
-
its ok id want to know but ay im wayyyy too lazy :D :D
-
I know how many hours I have logged roughly...
7 hours.
About 30 minutes my first try I looked around found some rats killed some rats. Got some stuff which I sold for money which then magically vanished from my character.
Then several 5 minute logs where I hopped on to find the NPC server down so I logged off.
Maybe another 30 minute log when the NPC server was up but so many people were killing rats I could find none. I wound up exploring the sewers a bit mainly due to getting lost. Once I found my way out I logged off.
Then I spent a couple of hours chatting with some people I met. Then I got to goofing around and got stuck. Clicked the unstick me thing one time too many and wound up in the death realm.
Couldn\'t find the way out, fell several times, and logged off.
Logged back in another day and caught somebody else in the death realm as I was just standing there pretty much having given up on getting out. They looked like they knew where they were going so I just followed them out.
Celebrated my rise from the death realm, chatted some more and logged off. Haven\'t logged back in since.
I think there are currently enough people to be able to test features and find bugs. I\'ll likely return in a year maybe when things have improved much.
Untill then I just have too many other games, and projects on my plate to invest a whole lot of time on a good but very buggy early I would call it Alpha game. To take my little playtime away to play PS which while interesting currently holds little play value or time investment value when future wipes etc are on their way.
Other than meeting some cool guys and gals ;)
Which was fun shooting the breeze with them. However once they went off to do something...there I was staring at the wall.
Which is what led me to doing silly things and getting stuck, and winding up in the death realm.

Trinx, actually, you\'ve been on for 4.1 hours. :P Anyway, don\'t give up so easily! There\'s a lot of fun stuff going on if you\'re willing to roleplay. RMs are running events like crazy, so don\'t despair! There\'s always some fun to be had if you roleplay. :)
