Title: PlaneShift and RuneScape

Dear all people who play PlaneShift, and development team,

RuneScape if INFINITLY better then PlaneShift will ever be. I will always be playing RuneScape. If anyone wants to add me on RuneScape, my user name is Dezzheirick.

Thanks for that stunning insight. However it has no basis on my work on PlaneShift.  We are doing really well and so is RuneScape. More power to them.  They are making a living off of RuneScape, we are making a way of life off of PlaneShift.

i played runescape, i even had a membership account. i thought it was the greatest thing in the world.

then i was reintroduced to planeshift (began playing when MB first came out, but stopped after my computer broke and i had to get a new one).

i now prefer planeshift to runescape, even though runescape has more quests, items, places, options, skills, and the like. i felt that runescape was far too cold and distant. the players were often very rude, or too l33t for me to understand them. i wanted a more roleplaying environment.

if you prefer runescape, go for it. it\'s a great game and fun to play (if you enjoy playing that kind of game).

sorry for the life-story of myself. just thought i\'d tell you why i switched from runescape, just in case any other of my runescape buddies decide to give planeshift a try. (though i don\'t think they\'d recognize me here. my runescape name was Paistinfionn.... a far cry from Sekhemet. plus that and i\'m a cat-person now. XD)

So why the announcement?  If Runescape is so much better, why aren\'t you over there playing instead of posting ads?

ok maybe not, I haven\'t played runescape, nor intend to.

when I was majorly active around plaeshift, before GMing my head off, I could see something different in PS compared to all other games, even newbies see it when they join, you dont just make a character jump in, take an easily noticeable quest and off into the horizon of adventure.

you actually grow with PS, not just in stats, but in character and personality too, WoW, GW and runescape have nothing on this.

at least not in my opinion :]

Dezzheirick, Runescape charges, in my opinion, that\'s dumb. Planeshift is free, and the developers are doing a great job. Better graphics than Runescape, better community than Runescape, overall, Planeshift is indeed better than Runescape.


If you want to pay to play a practically 2-d game, go right ahead and waste your allowance.

Runescape is the exact opposite of what I look for in a game, Planeshift is the only game I know of that fits my standards.

Its Free And the players are nice
