which skills (like cooking, alchemy etc) are implemented, and how they work (except for the weapon-skills, which are quite clear)

Posted in a past thread and dug up through the archeology methods utilizing the mysterious Search button:
List of implemented stats/skills:
(sorted by the tabs used in skill window)
Stats:
All
Combat Skills:
Sword
Knives & Daggers
Axe
Light Armor
Melee
Magic Skills:
All but Anti-Magic
Job Skills:
Mining
(Crafting will be implemented soon)
Various Skills:
Lockpicking (Though there aren\'t any locks to pick yet)

So far I know of the following skills being implemented and being practicable:
- Melee (fists)
- Knives & Daggers (wield while fighting)
- Sword (wield while fighting)
- Axes (wield while fighting)
- Light armor (wear leather while fighting, train it when you get hit in a non-bloody stance)
- the six Ways of Magic (cast spells)
- Mining (no matter if you are successful while digging, but better be)
