I don\'t know if you guys already thought of this, but here goes...
With the coming Holidays and consumption of egg nog, maybe some snow in the nation, we could have seasons/holidays!
In the fall, the trees would be bare, and leaves would cover the ground.
In the winter snow would cover the ground and lakes would freeze over (revealing secret dungeons/items)
I\'ll leave spring and summer to you geniuses at work.
MAYBE- you guys can have holidays with christmas and easter egg hunts.

wtf is fall?? do u mean autumn?
anyways, yeah gud idea, has losts of potential.

Some call it Autumn some call it Fall. There is no right or wrong between them. Fall is just more common due to the saying used for DST, \"In Spring you spring forward and in Fall you fall back.\"
As for seasons, it would be hard to have seasons due to the fact that game time runs much faster that real time. For example it only takes about 2 or so hours for most game days to pass. This would cause for short seasons and a lot of work for such short amounts of use. Instead most games go with some areas representing a single season. For an example some games have complete areas where no mater where you go in that area, it is hot and humid like Summer. In other areas it could be a frozen tundra and give the feel of Winter all year round. Some areas are slightly cool and full of colorful trees and it gives the feel of Fall.
As for Holidays, mostly for Holidays to be selebrated in game, they are done as GM events. This would simply be a party of some kind set in a specific zone that the devs then edit for that time, usualy adding creatures and things to suit the Holiday itself.
