Title: reinstall EVERY TIME!!!

well every time i exit from planeshift it makes me reinstall the entire thing AND get the updates all over again....help?

that is a bit odd. when you try to start it back up again without restarting what kind of error messages to do you get?

well what happens is that there is no shortcut leading directly to the game, and when i tell it to install toi desktop i STILL dont get that shortcut, no error messages or anything, also when i dont update it it says the server isnt working until i DO update it

You do know that you can manually create a shortcut? :) Locate psclient.exe, right-click, hit Send To, and then \"Desktop.\" The server will not recognize your client until you update it, so updating with the included updater is a must.
