Hey.
I was just wondering if anyone from this community is playing EVE Online. I play it for about two years now, and it would be great to play it together with some PlaneShifters.
Cheers!

Wow! It looks awsome (I mean trailers and screenshots)! Why haven\'t I heard about this game earlier ?
Unfortunately - no time to play all good games :(, life is too short...
-
Well, it is the best rated MMORPG in these moments (http://www.mmorpg.com).
-
Planeshift is the first and only MMORPG I have played so far, I have never been interested in this kind of games before (now I see that it was a big mistake)... Title \"Red Moon Rising\" rings the bell, but I don\'t remember, where and what I heard/read about it.
Anyway - it is for Windows only, You won\'t see me in Eve universe, unless it is possible to run it on Linux. I will try it for sure, if (or rather when?) it will be ported to other OSes.

It should be playable with Cedega, at least according to their game database: Eve Online (http://cedegawiki.sweetleafstudios.com/wiki/Eve_Online)

Eve interests me....my only problem is as i understand it can sometimes be a long flight between ports.... which sorta makes me wanna stick with WoW but i dunno....might have a poke at the 14 day trial

Aiee.. Costs money! *runs away*

...
*checks no-one\'s looking*
*leans over to Kii and whispers \"You payed for runescape!\"*

Seperot, the Universe is big.
:P
Huh, now being serious, depends on what ship you have, I mean, yeah, it can be slow in a cruiser that has 200 - 250 m/s, but faster in a shuttle that has 500 m/s, but less than my lovely interceptor that has around 4000 m/s.
Of course, there are afterburners, microwarp drives, that boosts your speed for a limited time.
It\'s an interesting game, and its freedom makes it even more interesting. Though, I must admit, there were times when I was getting a little bored by EVE.
-
Is it twitch based? Or point and click?
-
its more like...route based. but you get options like a merchant...transporter....pirate and so on. its not like WoW for speed so i understand
-
Boring then. :(

Actually, what I love at EVE, is its freedom. You can basically do anything. If you want to mine, you mine, possibilities are endless in here, you can do missions, you can be a pirate, huh, anything that goes through your mind.
Now, I noticed that the alliance my ex-corporation belonged is ranked 3rd. Damn luck. :|
Anyway, Xordan, the control is also \"point and click\", but it\'s useless to be played like that, though, it\'s there.
