i died like 2 min into the game
i figured out how to get out but everytime i do it locks up on the loading screen

Locks up on the loading screen when you\'re trying to step through the portal, in the Death Realm? Is there any message within that loading screen, when the freezes occur? And what race is your character, so we can determine the spawn point?
Maybe try updating, in recover mode. It\'s available through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Updater (Recover), if you\'re on Windows.

im male of the first race you can choose and there was no pop-up. i just tryed the update and it didnt update anything

Well, I didn\'t really mean a pop-up, more like text - something like \"Loading GUI...\" or similar :) How about this: find psclient.txt in your PlaneShift directory (usually C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue) and delete it. Then run the game again, wait for the freeze/crash point, go back to find the new psclient.txt file that will be created, and post its contents here.
But first try that recovery update I mentioned, and one more thing - how long have you waited at the loading screen? Was it just a few minutes, or half an hour, or more?

first time i waited a good 30 min
it said loading something on the left but i forget what
