The version of the game is Crystal Blue 0.3.12.
I have applied Xordans patch to update the game from 0.3.11, hence my game\'s version is 0.3.12. I have also extracted the other patch, the tar file to ~/Planeshift.
My updater\'s version is 1.0.2.7.
PC Specs:
Distro: Fedora Core 4
Video card: 128 mb nVidia Geforce 2 MX/MX 400
Sound card: SiS SI7012
RAM: 512 mb
CPU: Intel Celeron 2.60 ghz x86 (32 bit)
For some reason, I just can\'t connect to the server. It says that I am not running the correct version of Planeshift for this server.
Help?

I\'ve just installed the client, and I have the same problem (updating from the 0.3.12 PS-CB version)
Did you found out how to resolve it?
PC Specs:
Distro: Debian kernel 2.6.9
CPU: Intel PIV 2.8 ghz x86 (32 bit)

I had to build from cvs head

First I downloaded those files, ran the binary and extracted the tar file. Then I ran the updater (./updater) and it still didn\'t work claiming that \" You are not running the correct version of Planeshift for this server.\" So I thought that perhaps it was because I updated with updater so I extracted the tar file again and tried - it worked just fine !

I have same issue and I don\'t really know what went wrong.
Anyone has installed PlaneShift correctly from binnaries?

I have installed via both methods with the installer version remember to run the updater then patch the r4 bins or the updater just replaces them with the old versions
