Title: Installing problems?

I downloaded from Mirror 1 to get PS. There were two files on my desktop PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012 and PlaneshiftCB_v0.3.11. I double clicked the first one and this shortcut popped up. When I clicked the shortcut a black screen popped up for a moment then dissapeared. And the same thing happened with the other two. Is this a corrupt file? Am I missing something? Help?

Ensure that the first file has an .exe, so it\'s really the install file, and that its size is 271,438,388

The size is 288,513,412 bytes for the second one, which is closest. But the first one is 14.5 mb.

None of them are .exe files. =(

The first one is an application. The second one is a dmg file.

If it\'s an application, the extension should be .exe, though I think what happened is that you downloaded the Mac client. The second file would then be \"PlaneshiftCB_0.3.11.dmb\". You.. -were- aiming for the Mac client, right? If so, check the Mac OSX forum a bit below the Technical Help ones - especially the Important stickies.

Make sure you have downloaded from the correct mirror, then. Try again, and be sure you\'re using the links under \"Windows\".
