Title: updater "XML Parsing error"

I followed the gentoo install guide and installed with no problems but when running the updater I get the following error message in gui and console both:


              # ./updater --auto SCF_ERROR: metadata retrieval error for /usr/games/planeshift/pssound.so: Warning: /usr/games/planeshift/pssound.so has embedded data and .csplugin file, using embedded.
CRITICAL ERROR: XML Parsing error in file \'/this/updaterconfig.xml\': Error reading Element value..


reading Element value???    I looked at the xml and there is nothing about Element anywhere in it.   ???        I\'m really looking forward to playing and hope to have this resolved and online quickly.  Thanks in advance.
