Exactly. IRL we have horse power, IPS we have pony power. Makes sense to me!

but seriously is it the sliding spell power thing?

I don\'t think DaveG\'s kidding.

Since this game is open source....
which leads to the question, what is power level???
Which leads to the next question of what is KFactor?

Actually, the game engine itself is fully open source, but the rules are in xml files loaded by the server, and those are not open source. CVS has example rules, but the actual ones used in game are different.
Suffice to say, the more you know of a way of magic, the smarter your character is, and the more effort you risked putting into the spell, the bigger the result. Unfortuantely there is a hard limit with every spells, which I have found is actually set lower then the minium required to cast the spell in most cases, so I am trying to get that changed, and thusly all spells much more powerfull.
