Now i\'ve done it three times, following the instructions throughly each time, and it still doesn\'t work. Do i need to be a rocketscientist for this, or am i just too stupid.
I\'m trying to run Planeshift on an iBook G3 900Mhz, Mac OS 10.3.9. but every time i try to run the client Finder says: The operation could not be completed. An unecpected error occurred (error code -10810).
The console log says nothing.

Platform-specific bugs encountered:
I first downloaded Planeshift, the client worked fine, but i couldnt log on because the serverversion was not compatible. The updater_old.jar runned fine and completed, but while it was running i got a lot of \"error updating\" and then some file name. The updater downloaded a lot of files anyway and says update complete. Then I cant start the client. Setup works fine by the way.
Any clue?
Thanks for your help.

Are you the administrator of your computer? Are there any messages from Updater-old.jar?

Yes and yes.
I am administrator and i have read the guide. Updater-old.jar is not giving any console og terminal messages, but during update it keeps saying \"error updating\" and then the file name.

Hi there,
Try changing the mirror you download from using Updater-old (2 seems to work the best for me). I had a similar problem when I last tried to update which was alleviated when I used mirror 2.
-
Yes, if using mirror 2 does not work, please post your Updater-old.jar log here...

Great, now it worked. Just have to work my way through the other crashes now.
Thanx for all your help.
PS. Maybe put the mirror 2 thing in the guide or something for others?
See you in-game (hopefully).

Added that to the Guide. Have fun playing Planeshift!
