Title: Words Don't Fit in Text Box
Post by: geniusboy91 on January 10, 2006, 02:23:00 am
I apologize if this is answered somewhere else. I looked for awhile and didn\'t see it.

The problem I am having is when I start the game, the window comes up half-way cut off the top-left corner of the page. I adjusted the properties so that it would start the game \"maximized\" when I clicked the icon from the desktop.

This corrected that problem and the whole window fit in the screen.

Only thing is, now the text does not seem to fit where it should. For instance, when I was choosing a race, I could only view the top half of the races\' name. Another example, only half of the letter \"Q\" could be seen on the \"quit\" button\"

I\'m runnin XP on a big enough monitor.
Pentium 4 -- 1.6 Ghz
I have a graphics card good enough to run Everquest II. If you need any more info, let me know

Thanks -Dustin

Hiya! Have you checked if you have the latest drivers for your graphics card? :)

I just went to Nvidias web site. I have a 128MB DDR GeFORCE FX 500 AGP 8x. I just updated the driver. All problems are still the same....

What resolution are you using, out of curiousity? And I presume you changed the PlaneShift display properties using the included setup application, or did you use another method? I could recommend the former.

Thanks a lot...that solved my problem...my screen resolution on my monitor is 800 x 600. I didn\'t see that included Planeshift set up until you mentioned it. It was set to a different resolution. I\'ve changed it now and it looks normal. Thanks a lot. -Dustin
