Hello, I am Rufus
I am looking for a guild in Planeshift, i am currently attempting to get the client, but i would just like to put my name out there so that when i get into the game i have a few ideas about which guilds i like.
I am 16 years old, i am very experienced with MMORPGS, i am in EST Time Zone and i am on pretty much all night after school, exept when sports are on that night. I am always willing to help fellow guild mates in any manner i can.
Since i will be starting anew, i will probably stay guildless for at least a week so that i can get to know the games settings and people, but i will keep track of which guilds have offered me membership and i will look into the guilds while i get to know the game.
If you would like to contact me, PM me on the forums or email/msn me at jessereid@hotmail.com

Yeah i know, i just though it\'d help if i put my name out there :)

Putting your name out there might help but what would help a lot more is some more information about your character. That will affect which guild would suit him/her and will give the people here an idea about what you are looking for.
Most guilds in planeshift have a certain orientation which determines their roleplaying position in the game community. You have combat oriented guilds, newbie helping guilds, merchant guilds, racespecific guilds, knowledge oriented guilds, small communities, ...

You could, but many guilds have some sort of guest forum set up to introduce yourself and and your character. So you should go to guild sights and introduce yourself to the guild you want to be in. And if they dont then you can post in theyre promo thread.

Well, the best way to find a guild is to get active yourself. There are many guilds with many different goals and attitudes; and only you can find the guild which suits you best. Search through the promotional threads a bit, and see the websites of the guilds (for most serious guilds have a web site) you take into closer consideration. Leave a messge at their forums or PM the guild leader to get into contact with the guild you like to join, and you will get a response.
