Title: Which updater to use

forgive me if i haven\'t looked hard enough, i was just wondering which updater I should use from here on in - the java updater i downloaded through the guide or the one that came with the initial download, or are they the same?

They are indeed different. The Java updater will be easier to use, though, since you\'ll have to set permission bits manually if you use the normal updater (follow steps 3-4 of the Manual Update part of the Guide if you want to do this). It really doesn\'t matter which you use, though. If you don\'t like Java, use the normal one. If you want to do it the easy way, use the Java one. :)
