So, after nearly a year of absence, I figured I\'d come back for awhile, at least to see how things have developed...as well as to see who still remembers me.
Here\'s where it gets funny. I can\'t remember my old PS password, which I imagine was needed to migrate in the first place, and I can\'t remember which e-mail address I used. And I\'m adamant about using my old account. So, I\'ve managed to get myself locked out of PS, at least for Zetsumei, purely because of absense and faulty memory.
The only way I could think of getting around this would be for the admins to tell me what my old password was, which is the part where I start laughing hysterically at my dilemma. Because there isn\'t the slightest chance in hell (or the death realm) of that ever happening. So, I\'ll spend the next few days attempting to remember my old password...along with the correct e-mail address, but chances are I\'ll fail. Which means that my name has been retired to the graveyard, and it\'s completely my own fault.
Damn, but that\'s funny.

A GM can unban the name for you (banned meaning it was reserved, if you chose to migrate), and rename any of your characters if you choose.

Hmm...that works, but then I lose the ring of the past. The tria I could care less about. I gave enough crystals to enough people back in my MB days to collect on old debts. But the ring I want.
And I wasn\'t expecting you, of all people, to be this helpful.

Yeh, go figure :) Some sell Rings of the Past - you might find a willing merchant.

And does the thing actually do anything yet?

Raises a stat some, but not enough to be of significant worth beyond being an item not everyone has.
Look for Bodacher in-game. Though he usually deals with weapons, other curious trinkets may find their ways into his possession.

Zetsumei. Banned from MB due to crystal modding, general pestering, inappropriate behavior towards GMs.
I\'m curious to see if he\'ll actually be allowed back.

Name rang a bell too here...But I didn\'t really know about the ban and about the reasons why, but if I see the reasons I don\'t really think they\'ll allow him back in :s
I\'m not really fond of people who just pester for fun so hey maybe he changed his life...let\'s hope so.

Well heh I never really hate anyone in particular, and if \"general pestering\" happens every once in a while I guess it\'s not much of a problem...
But then again, it depends on what your definition of pestering really is. Like...In MMO\'s I HAAAAAAAATE PKers who just follow you around and keep killing you just because they think it\'s fun. K, THAT\'S WRONG :D
Loads depend on definitions ;)

I hope he doesn\'t get his original Zetsumei account back. I bet the spectacle would give entertainment a boost.

Only among the older members, most of the new players don\'t know him.
I hope he does, just seeing him run around would bring back memories :P

I wasn\'t banned from MB. I had my crystals wiped, that was it. As for pestering and behaviour towards the GMs, how so? If anything I could make a (probably weak) case against the GMs, as there were many times I was kicked solely for trying to play.
Psybur was the one that was banned, not me. I played in CB for about a month, before my laptop gave out on me, not to mention the spring semester\'s workload putting a damper on my time.

Of course, of course. And all those alts of yours with such appropriate names were just a misunderstanding, eh? ;)
Indeed, let this die. This isn\'t MB, it won\'t be, and if you\'re trying to come back then adapt to the new community instead of dragging the past in.

I\'d actually forgotten about those alts. Admittedly, it was childish, I knew that then, but Moogie was kicking me as soon as she saw me signing on, when there was no official ban on me. So I was retaliating.
And I adapted rather well to CB for the time I was playing, enough so that Moogie stopped viewing me as \"the enemy\".
And I\'m not trying to drag the past in, not in the manner of modding anyway, so much as dragging myself in. And if you want to make that argument, then it goes for everyone in the community who\'s been playing for an extended period of time.

I did it in MB when I wasn\'t being assaulted or \"hunting\", and I did it in CB for the majority of the time I was there.
I look forward to playing. Now if I can only remember my frelling password.

That\'s very bad advice. I\'ve never ever known Bodacher to be in possession of a ring of the past -- he\'s no more likely to have one than any other non-MB migrant.
Me smells the stench of favouritism.

The last wipe forced people to recreate characters, so their tria and Rings of the Past survived from the migration state.
Bodacher is simply the only merchant I know who has the ability and network to find almost anything, at least with weapons. I thought it safe to assume that if asked, he could be on the look-out for a Ring too.
Maybe you should think more positive, Zanzibar ;)
