I have a question about the brightness of the game. I have been walking around and i can see around me becuase it is so dark. I looked at some screenshots and i noticed that other peoples screens were a lot brighter than mine. I was wondering how i could fix this. My brightness and contrast are both at 100.

One of the options is to run the game with the -fullbright option (does not look very good, but at least you can see). People also report that they get better view with another monitor that is brighter. Relighting maps is another options (see the Planeshift setup for the Relight option), but it does not work for all the maps (like Ojaroad for example).

As for solving the Ojaroad map, better than use fullbright and affect all the maps of the game, you\'d try looking this thread: http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=20543&boardid=33
As for how to be able to see things brighter, you could try going to your graphic card configuration menu, if it\'s an nvidia based card, there should be a label called \"colour correction\" check for \"Gamma\" and raise the slider a bit. You even should be able to create a configuration (called Planeshift for instance) once you\'ve tweaked it at your liking, and, with a task menu icon you should be able to toggle between that configuration and the default one easily.
