Title: Server isn't working :(

I keep trying to get in, and get the same message: The server is not running, or is not reachable. Please check the website and forums for more info.

So, any info?

Has been working for the last few hours.

Linux or Windows? Do you have a router/firewall and have you read this? (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=21401&boardid=17&styleid=2)

Windows XP Home Edition 2003

Don\'t know whether my firewall is on, but I am loathed to turn it off, since last time I did I got loads of viruses within minutes.

well... you dont need to turn it off, just check the ports with forwarding and what not.

also check the servers.xml doc found around C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\\data

the port should be 7777

I turned Firewall off, now there\'s a bigger problem. It says I am running the wrong version of Planeshift for the server, and it is the only server there. I use Planeshift Crystal Blue Tech Demo.

the version you should be using is PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012.exe and have you run the updater first?

Also did you read the link in my first post? It will explain about the ports that you need to open in your firewall/router. :)
