Hi All,
The latest Planeshift CVS is using CS release of 18 Jan. 2006. This release had problems itself when compiling with Visual C++ 2005 Express, however, these problems were fixed in the next 27 Jan. 2006 pseudo-stable release...
Since I\'ve totally upgraded my development environment to use VC++ 2005 Express (as its free now) and the 27 Jan. 2006 CS/CEL release, I\'m unable to complie Planeshift at all....
Is there any workaround or any plans by the Planeshift team to migrate to 27. Jan. CS pseudo-stable release ?
Any info/help would be hugely appreciated!
Regards,

The current Planeshift CVS HEAD (2006-01-30) compiles with the CS/CEL release 2006-01-27 and runs fine. Tested on Linux with gcc. It might be different when using Windows and VC++ 2005 Express Edition.

Is there any specific issue that you have in compiling?

I am using MSVC 2003 and I am using CS+CEL from 26/01, while PS is HEAD.
Anyway, we have plans to define a new freeze date as soon as we will solve some little issue we are having at the moment.
But if you want please, show all the issues you are having right now just pasting your compiling errors.
Are you using mk/msvc8 project files?
