Title: The Pure Ones
Post by: Suno_Regin on February 01, 2006, 10:37:43 pm
\"My body is now connected with the Dark Crystal, I can now lead the Ynnwn to victory over the foolish Crystal-Borns...join me, and we will do what Vod?l desires. I can free you from your sinful Elven half, so that you may become a Pure Ynnwn, one without the faults given to us by our half-breed status. We will keep our strengths, and gain the powers of the Diaboli, as well. We will not be Diaboli, though, we will be PURE Ynnwn...\"

Yliakum was thrown into a great suffering time. Many had died, others were injured badly, and some simply moved away...individual lives did not matter at this time, it was only a time for survival. If someone could not move, they would be left to die. Religion played a major role in this time, as the people did not know which God to follow. Laanx had used the Azure Sun to create life so that she could rule over it, and Talad created Glyphs to control the six Ways of magic, as well as creating the Kran.

Many generations passed, and life began to settle down. One individual, though, tossed Yliakum back into its previous state of suffering. Xidus, an Ynnwn of great strength, slaughtered everyone he saw. Some who managed to escape, remember hearing these words from him,

\"The blood of those I\'ve slain has stained my blade...those foolish enough to look at me, speak to me, or attack me, all recieve the same punishment...death.\"

and hence the people began to run away to Kadaikos, where they would seek help. Armies gathered, and marched back to the ruins of the upper-level\'s eastern area. Xidus knew that the army would be no match for his power, and charged at the army with full force. He did not count on one thing, though...Laanx had come with them. She banished Xidus to the Death Realm, where he would live the rest of his life being tormented by the souls of those he had slain. Xidus screamed in pain, as the shadows reached out and dragged him in. Tales of Xidus passed throughout Yliakum, being exaggerated by each person it was passed to. Soon, the legend was so unbelievable, that it was forgotten. The reasons for his actions were not discovered until after he returned from his state of death.

---------------------------------------------------

Short Notes: Guild still needs five members to start. Guild logo wanted, PM for details. Website builder wanted, Freewebs is too basic.

The Pure Ones will serve Vod?l in every way, we believe that he is the only true God, the one without faults. Laanx and Talad are both foolish, thinking they can manipulate life, control the Azure Sun, and rule over Yliakum. What we do is not evil, but it is the request of the one who founded this world. Join me, and together we will send the sinners through Vod?l\'s trials of death, and we will create a world of our own, free of evil...

You should just get a basic free one from freewebs (http://members.freewebs.com/).

I don\'t like freewebs much, since it advertises itself all over the page. But, it\'ll have to do for now.

Alhana watches from the shadows.  A thin and rare half-smile comes to her face.

\"At last...\" She says in a hollow cold voice.

Well, the guild is severely evil, but they consider themselves good, since they follow Vod?l.

 :P

Alhana has her own goals, but Xidus has been long foretold.  Alhana\'s just been waiting... for a very long time.

Xidus is going to be the next \'Golden Boy\' in town.
He will bring what noone else can.  He will complete what many others failed to finish before him.

Why do I have such confindence in Xidus you ask?.
Thats my secret

Zorbels watches Xidus with curious eyes. Though she does not like his attitude towards her much .... she find this Ynnwn interesting. She thinks to herself \"Much evil rises under the peoples of Ylaikums noses. I wonder if they are ready for the growing evil that is to come....\"

\"Xidus is going to be the next \'Golden Boy\' in town\"
Xidus is a bit too much red ;D

Interesting concept of guild, i wonders if knowing this, the one who claims to be good will react or just wait.
The evil is not implemented yet, maybe this guild will do it

The only problem is that there aren\'t enough individual Ynnwn to start the guild. Setill and Narita are already in guilds, Isra is temporarily in the Rangers, so Degomon is the only one I have right now. Even though almost everything is setup, I still need to recruit and get the guild in-game. I only wish to recruit roleplayers, since powerleveling isn\'t something a guild like this does, mostly RP. (Though, powerleveling isn\'t a bad thing, just I\'d rather there be more RP, or at least a bit of RP inside of the powerleveling, so that the character isn\'t completely OOC)

Welcome to the club.  Im having the same problem, but I have patience and in the end I dont really need a guild/order to be Alhana, the same as sangwa dosent need a castle to make his character any more real.

Exactly. I have plenty of time to make the guild, so recruiting isn\'t too much of a concern.

/me points at himself: \"There are some Ynnwns available.\"

Which doesn\'t mean that I am ready to join your guild, because I still have some doubts about your role-play ;)

I don\'t roleplay much on the forums, but if we meet in-game, I\'ll show you how I RP. =)

As I ment. Got that the guild was evil but the people in it would concider themselves doing good.

If this wil bring evil to PS I highly doubt though.

1. It\'s race oriented and not one of the most popular

2. the guilds idea of purging the world seems to be going towards slaughter them all.

What ofcourse might be roleplayed but is just to far away from reality in my eyes to become noticed by most no matter how much one would want an evil in the world.

Suno,  I for one would very much like to see how your RP story unfolds and no matter what the outcome, its all good fun and in good spirit.  Your storys in the past have never been a dissapointment.

Go for it :D

Actually, if you read it over a couple of hundred times, it will make sense. Xidus had been banished to the Death Realm, Vod?l didn\'t save him because he was keeping him down there until Setill and Narita came into the world. While Xidus was in the Death Realm library, Alhana had found him and spied on him when he was searching for the Book of Runes and the book to escape through the Death Realm portal. You may call it unrealistic, but this is actually what RP is all about, I\'m actually making a background for my character, instead of saying I\'m new to Hydlaa like the couple of hundred others.

EDIT: Also, killing on sight isn\'t what will happen. There\'s a different plan.

I ment far from reality as it\'s not possible to kill someone without their permition in the game yet. There for it will be very hard to convince people that in light of roleplaying they should have their character die.

People tend to like their characters and on that end normally not very interested if it would improve overall roleplaying ;)

As for roleplaying reality, well not very plosible either that someone who died that long ago would still be able to find their way back or we would have people\'s grandfathers walking around the same age as their grandchildren.

After such a long time old age death should prevent you from resurecting.

Hmm, that\'s a good question... Can people age in the Death Realm?
Title:
Post by: Pestilence on February 10, 2006, 02:41:04 am
hmm true death hasn\'t been explained by the devs yet but think that whatever explanation they chose that wouldn\'t be possible for the simple fact people need to die or the population would explode.

I am still having trouble with the deathrealm myself. I mean having something like that would make death a lot different make wars being fought wuite different if armies just pop up out of the deathrealm again a few days after being defeated.

I mean if individuals can come out a whole army working togheter wouldn\'t have much trouble with the guardians. Only problem might be that the army would take up to much room.

Perhaps the devs will think of something why we are different from the other citizens on this or something.
