I have recently downloaded the game. It is my first MMORPG, though I am familiar with many other computer games and such. I am running it with MAC OS 10.4.
It allows me to run it, but whenever I reach the login screen and attempt to connect to the server, it says \"The server is not running or is not reachable. Please check the website or forums for more info\". And I did exactly that.
A puzzling detail is that, while in the \"running planeshift\" area in the player\'s guide, it says that a server called laanx will be in use most likely. I can only get Fragnetics, and it has a thing that says \"fail 100\" next to it. I do not know what this means.
Could someone please help me?

I am keeping port 7777 open. I checked another thread, and it said to run the updater without the GUI interface. I don\'t know how. it said to click on the link next to the updater. Where is this link? I can\'t find it.

Hi there,
The Fail100 message means that the sever is down at the moment. If you would like to double check on the server status, look for the number of players online at laanx.fragnetics.com.

It says that 57 people are online. Are you able to get on? Or does it just not update frequently, and it could have gone down recently...

Oh. Also, I can\'t update. When I click the update button in the updater, it just quits out. Is there a way I can run the updater without the GUI?

I would say that probably something similar has already happened and I would recommend you to to check the MacOs specific area of the forum where you might find something that helps you.
Good luck!
