Title: Spell "steals" monster from engaged player
Post by: Tyrphe on February 09, 2006, 10:44:46 pm
I was fighting a beastie today, and a blue guy shows up. He says, he wants to fight me, he wants to kill me. He`s clearly a lot more powerful than me. After a few tries he challenges me to roll dice for the monster. I win. I fight the monster, and he casts a spell on it, which makes it so that I can`t attack it anymore, and lose any experience I would have gained for the kill.

I THINK the spell is teh mix between Energy and Arrow. It puffs a lot of white clouds and sparkles on the monster.

Yes, that\'s a known issue. Thanks for the reminder on that.  I will investigate this.

The bug you are referring to is known for a long time.
It\'s illegal to abuse the arrow-bug.
Many got a time-ban because of abusing the bug to take over a NPC from another player.
I report all this players to a Gamemaster when i see it.
