Title: new updater?
Post by: ripper81 on February 16, 2006, 09:33:53 pm
Hello i`ve just installed planeshift on my Kubuntu 5.10
system.

But the updater wont work right. It says that my updater is older than the servers updater.

Any idea how to fix that problem ?

Thanks in advance.

 Installing PlaneShift on Linux (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=19389&boardid=41)

You need a new installer and then a patch. Follow the instructions in the sticky.

optionally you can use the java updater provided you have the latest java installed.  Surf over to the mac forums and look around.  I use it since it is far far faster.  execute the jar file with a command like this:

java -jar Updater.jar
