If I have a level 4 in painting, how can I make money painting?  Does painting even work yet?

Painting is not implemented yet. Some choices during character creation give you immediate levels in certain skills, but the list of working skills is a lot smaller. Check the \"Getting Started In-Game\" thread for a list of those that are currently implemented.
