Title: Does this game have guns!!?!?!?!?!
Post by: Macmanz on February 21, 2006, 03:17:30 am: Well iv seen that this game is very...medival...and no guns, but a frined of mine told me that there is a hack in the main screen where u can get guns, now I don\'t know if I should trust this. Is this really true?(goes on knees and beggs to god that theres guns). And if it IS a hack, would u be able to tell me ;)

shh. there is a hack. atleast for the windows version... don\'t know about the others.
once you\'ve logged in. press alt and f4 on the keyboard. when it asks click yes.

and bang you\'ve got it.

Macmanz, don\'t let steuben here trick you, that\'ll just close the window, the real hack is pressing ctrl+alt+del really fast 4 or 5 times, you\'ll hear a secret melody and next time you load the client you\'ll have two uzis.

PlaneShift is a (somewhat medieval) MMORPG and not an action-shooter. Thank Talad it isn\'t. Hence there are no guns and there will never be guns or rocket launchers or sniper rifles or any of that kind of stuff.

PS: Macmanz, do to your friend as Einnol suggested (though a wet and smelly sock would be even better). ;)

Some people also just cant appreciate the satisfaction roleplaying brings, in comparison to \"BOOM! HEADSHOT! KILL! SCREENWATCH!\" which can be a little worrying to me.

Well, heres my two cents, at random: Swords are just so much cooler to have than guns.

The kran with guns was a great april fools joke indeed, I too remember it well. (I kinda lost my previous account so my registration date says I wasn\'t here that april)

Oh and by the way, the gun code is up-down-left-left-right-fire, and you need to have the bloody tarnished amulet of lore equiped and 3 flawless rubies in your inventory first. Dont let any one tell you otherwise.

Interesting. So that\'s why my imaginary red-way glyph of divine headshot did not work to summon guns or any sort of that stuff. :P

And now, after the gun issue can be considered as completely discussed, a mod could come by and close this topic as well.
