Title: Saying Goodbye
Post by: Suno_Regin on February 23, 2006, 03:38:19 am: I never thought it would come to this, but it is time to quit Planeshift, for good...there are so many things going on in real life, I realize now that I cannot balance virtual and real equally. I wish that I could stay, but I just can\'t. I have proposed to my girlfriend, we are to be married 2 weeks from tomorrow, my brother has decided to take me, my girlfriend, and a few of his friends on a trip to Arizona for a week, to get away from the cold weather, thus no computer. There are other things, but I doubt people will read them anyway, and this post will sink to the back pages with getting tons of views and no replies, like the story-shorts I have written in the past.

I\'d like to come up with an ending to each of my characters before I leave, as to not leave them hanging.

Mitaki returned to the ruins of his home village, to see who sent the army that came after him, but was never heard from again.

Xilam found a new job in the Xacha village, but was killed in the process.

Xidus\' body had finally decayed, and the remains of his body became a fragment of the Dark Crystal.

Nukasa returned to the hills to do some more training after getting beaten by Narita, but was caught off guard by an ulbernaut. He did not survive the brutal beating.

Aral wandered too far out of town, and was attacked by a clacker. He did not survive.

Tharo had been beaten to death by a claymore in its next job, thus finally making it fall apart.

Now, I would like to say goodbye to my so-called friends, but there are too many on the list (most whom don\'t even think of me as a friend), to type down. So, in short, bye to all of my friends, and acquaintances. It has been fun on Planeshift, I have learned much, and it has been the best year of my life. If only I could stay long enough to see the finished version...

It\'s hard to spend time online while there is stuff going on outside. I know that even the mild life of a high school student makes it hard to stay active like Valbrandr said.. If we ever see him again it won\'t be for a while I think. Although I could be wrong and often am I don\'t expect to see him again for a long time if ever...

We went to Fridays to eat out, and out of nowhere some guy walked over and called her his girlfriend, and wondering how it was such a coincidence they would meet there...I\'m not going to go into detail, but this crap is over, she can burn for all I care...

The good news is, I\'m back now...and I\'m surprised how many people replied, but the wedding won\'t happen, so that\'s it.

Don\'t worry too much. Once I read an sci-fi story about a scientist, who found a way to calculate anybody\'s luck (have you ever played with biorhythms? ;) ). He was getting very good effects in predicting somebody\'s lucky (or unlucky) day. So, he planned his wedding to happen on most lucky day in his life, and... on that day his fiancee escaped with another man. The scientist dropped all his work, because he thought \"I was wrong, I could not predict the happiest day in my life\". However, some time later he met a person, who told him: \"Maybe it WAS your happiest day, maybe it was the best thing, which ever happend to you ?\" :D
