Title: Video Card
Post by: raenif on February 25, 2006, 08:52:33 pm
Yes, before you tell me to look at the server requirements, I have already.

But, I\'ve looked at specs before, and my card hasnt been able to run them. Im getting a VAIO in April, but right now im running:

Windows XP SP2
Pentium 4 1.5GHZ
ATI Radeon 7000
Video Mem:64mb
RAM: 384(can add if i need to, got extra.)

Thing im worried about is, the Hardware Transform and Lighting, (TnL) I couldnt run FFXI, WoW, or SWG with this? Is it required by PS? Thanks in Advance.

I have a GeForce2 GTS (rather simple TnL implementation), and no problems running at 1280x960. Graphic is not quite the bottleneck with some TnL!

But without ... well, it even worked on a Matrox G400, with disabled multitexturing (that messed the textures completely, but worked in general). But it is recommendable to have a GPU which supports multitexturing and TnL.
