Hello !
I\'m really new to planeshift ; I installed the last version yesterday and tried to make it work today... (i\'m under linux mandriva 2006)
It worked 2-3 times, and now that i try to connect i get this error in the console : (that\'s everything reported since the game lauch)

Laanx had the updater info put on it today, to allow for update checking in the client. So, it\'s now getting the same Linux-specific crash from the updater at login, when it checks. (both crashes are fixed in CVS) You can fix this by deleting version.dat after each updater run, until a proper patch and/or new package is released. (or, just build from CVS)

I can usely solve this problem by typing before it:
export MALLOC_CHECK_=0
(i think)
then:
./psclient or the updater
