1. what do i have to train to get more health? endurance?
2. my combat skill \"sword\" is now at 6, should i now be stronger than before?! i dont notice that i stronger...
-
1. Train Endurance, Agility(?), Strength(?)
2. You will notice differences as you also train your strength and other stats, when they are maxed, one sword level will increase your damage by about ten points each.
-
there was nobody in the game who could help me find somebody who can train endurance...
does anybody in this forum now who can train my endurance?

Spamming \"Yo i need help\" ingame won\'t get you much assistance and asking for easy solutions here is frowned upon at least in the threads i have read.

I can confirm this. I only started playing the game yesterday and asking for directions or help, *in character*, almost always got me complete silence. Players in this game *seem* to be the most snobby and unhelpful I\'ve encountered.
I read the guide, the FAQs, and the forums before playing but there is still a lot which is difficult to figure out without help (even when the client isn\'t crashing every 5 minutes). It shouldn\'t be necessary to submit a petition to get an answer to a simple question, in my opinion, unless the GMs in this game are just bored :-)

Try asking IC ingame.
And IF that fails, you can always ask an advisor OOC.
-
Asking advisors OOC about trainers, uncommon locations (such that do not include \"Where is Akkaio?\" or \"How can I get to the dungeon?\") will not give you any answer. Advisors are only allowed to give the vaguest of hints and never blunt spoilers. The help channel is mostly for technical support, help with commands, requests for GM help (in addition to petitions), etc.
Strangedays: you cannot judge all players in PlaneShift from the sample you have encountered since yesterday ;) It\'s unfortunate that you haven\'t found too many helpful folks, but do keep in mind that if you are roleplaying, others can roleplay unhelpful and mean characters that refuse to offer help as well. This can be hard on new players, but a valid situation... Moreover, depending on what you ask and who you ask, the answers may not be known to those individuals.
Sadly there are people who seem to be utterly incapable of helping anyone but themselves, but there are such in every game. On the contrary to your two-day experience, my two years here have shown that players in this game are the most friendly and helpful you\'ll find anywhere. Keep asking, keep prodding, and eventually you\'ll find it :)

Some are, but not all.

players just don\'t like very much those who spam messages like \"give me gold plz\" or who are asking for something they should be able to find alone without damage.
I could explain to you where to find the trainer, but you only have to visit the city and you\'ll find him. Moreover, you will get some knowledge of the city organization, and that\'s not bad at all.
-
You should also realize Strangedays that most everyone in game has something going on and alot of times come across a newbie that has not even made an attempt at reading the player\'s guide.
Yes, I get a lil uppity when someone asks me repeatedly basic questions that can be answered by a little reading.

That\'s not what i meant really.
I have found most if not all people in this game to be friendly and helpful though i never spammed give me stuff/i need help etc.
Maybe that\'s why ?

I haven\'t met any snobs in game. However, for two days before the upgrade there were no replys to /advisor or to /petition. *edit* I was on during the low use times; I assume there were no one to answer.
Also, I have asked and been asked things while stopped between maps--which the character then does not see that anything was said to them.
Also, while there is fighting going on--if one\'s settings are to see all actions, then your question can zip right through the chat window without being seen.
There are also those who are telepathing to someone elsewhere in game--/tell. In this case the chat window may be set into the tell section so all they see is the tells--thus your comments are not seen. Many of these, and they appear to be in a trance--of course in real world, if you were telepathing to people elsewhere in the world, you\'d probably be entranced as well.
Then their is a non-bug, of the chat window appearing to not update (sometimes bug) which happens when you have adjusted your window to reread something--then you don\'t see any new entries--this is probably a good thing since it would be hard to finish rereading if it kept updating.**edit**Of couse, it does update, all you have to do is return the position of the window to the bottom where new stuff is being entered--and there it\'ll all be.
