Title: very bad lag..

I made my first char. and logged on it, but the lag is too much; i can only take like1 step every 5 seconds :c

Is it possible to change the graphic settings or something so lag doesn\'t win the battle over my dial-up connection? ?(

I believe a smaller screen-size is supposed to help.

update graphics card drivers
set ps colour depth to 32
decrease adaptive distance.
and there\'s a few other, and tehre is a stickied trhead somewhere that has them. or simply serach.

and connection speed has _nothing_ to do with lag. i\'ve seen/heard of some nasty lag on clear t1\'s.

Can you supply us with your hardware specs on your pc? It\'s very very rare that you will pick up any more then a few seconds of lag if you have 512

Sorry PresS. I\'m afraid it could be largely caused by your dial-up connection. Especially if it\'s NetZero.

Xyl iv got over what you said and i still get VERY bad lag!
