Title: problem starting anything!

ok my patients is running out...ive search around on the forum about my problem but i didnt find anything that looked like it

i\'m using windows XP SP2.
i had no problem at all when the .12version was installed, i could play it..it went rather slow but my pc just isnt that fast..however it worked fine..
now i installed the new version..and it\'s aweful, i cant start any ps application..windows gives me an error when i start the updater, ps setup or anything..ive tried to reinstall it, update the updater but nothing seems to work..
can someone please help me?!

You have to be detailed when you\'re asking for help :) We have to know what error messages you are getting so that we know what to suggest. Leaving it this open-ended won\'t do you much good, so the more you tell us, the better it will be for you.

For the updater, try following this (http://planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=22246&boardid=17) thread - download the files manually and unzip into your PS directory.

And again, more details would be great :)

alright sorry
well ok, this is what i get when i try to open ps setup or ps updater

windows says a problem occured while trying to acces the program..they do friendly apologize for it but its not helping anything ;)

only thing i can do is send the raport windows gives me or not send it..
every exe thingy of ps gives me this, updater recover, updater, ps tech demo, ps setup.. all of them..im not getting anywhere with this..

i hope its a bit more clear now..

How frustrating :P And you\'ve done a clean install of the .013 release, downloaded from BitTorrent? How about this: follow the updating (http://planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=22246&boardid=17) thread to manually install the correct updater version, and then run it to catch any missing files or fix corrupted ones.

I have tried that..its unbelievable but it didnt work either..and i used a ps instal from another pc i have cause i couldnt download with bittorrent..for some reason it won\'t go faster than 5kb/s and you dont even wanna know how long he says to be busy..
how ever that installation file did work on the first pc it was downloaded with and this pocket pc..
it just doesnt work on my own pc..
im indeed rather frustrated..cause i probably lost all my hotkeys now.. o_O :(
