Title: cannot set client up
Post by: tarnesh on March 09, 2006, 12:07:10 am
Hi, i\'m new at planeshift.
I use a powerbook g4 1 gb ram 1,5 ghz
I tried to install the client in 2 ways: i just downloaded the official .dmg and tried to run (before I had to change the server port in data/server.xml file), in this case the application run but can\'t connect to the server because the client version is not up to date.
So i tried using the official updater, but one the update is completed the application cannot run, i try to double click on psclient.app, updater.app, and pssetup.app but nothing appens, it seems that the system can\'t recognize that they are application. So i tried to download the client linked in the thread \"READ BEFORE POSTING: A Guide to Running Planeshift on Mac OS X \" and to follow the path (1.a, 2) but the system doesn\'t recognize the applications as applications :(
Can anyone help me?
Thank you for attention and sorry for my bed english

I tried to enter in the psclient package, and to run the client, so i made directly psclient.app/Contents/MacOs/psclient, and i received that error:

mattia-macalusos-Computer:~ mattiamacaluso$ /Users/mattiamacaluso/Desktop/Planeshift3D104x/Planeshift\\ 3D/psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient; exit
