Is it just me or is the new client (0.3.13) realy crashing all the time...?
By the way where can i find out when the updater is working again, and why does ps a have a 16bit setting if the cs doesn\'t support it?
Thanks Freewill

Yes, we\'re right after a new, fairly major release. Three months of bugs went public all at once... >.< Most have been fixed, but our updating process is a little slow, so you\'ll have to wait a bit. Things should be better after that.
The 16-bit mode is pretty much just in there to fix certain situations, and should probably be removed from the setup at some point. (you can always just edit the config file)

If you check around the forum there are a lot of threads about crashes and problems with the new client.
It might seem at first sight more unstable, but like every thing that is just released it has to go through a \"crash and burn\" process.
The major problems of instability have been already investigated and solve and it is just matter of waiting for updates.
In the while, there are plenty of workarounds for the major problems:
If you play with sound off, use just fullscreen
if you play with sound on, be aware of the lack of memory after a while.
And these above are just examples.
