I bought pit tickets to a slayer concert.
Anyone experianced a slayer or morbid angel pit before i hear those are the 2 worst bands.
Slayers concert was featured of a show called worst case scenario.

I think a more appropriate adjective would be insane.
Or crazy. Or mental. Or suicidal.

Is it that bad...
I really wanna know how bad it is from anyone that has experianced it.
I asked here since there are obviously so many metal fans.

I saw Slayer at Ozzfest \'99. Not really into that kind of thing now, but I was then.
Trouble is, it was at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, California (just south of San Francisco.) Basically the seats are near the stage...then the grass, IE the pit, is about three miles back. So um yeah it was kinda crazy...at this point in the middle / front (of the grass...miles away from the stage). but so long as you avoided that you were fine. I think the distance probably tamed it some...I imagine it\'s hard to mosh properly when the performers appear to be the size of small insects. Also the grass itself is pretty wide, so it\'s easy to avoid that center area.
Hm that probably doesn\'t really help...all I can say is have fun and try not to get hurt.

Might want to consider earplugs. I\'m not saying the music is bad, just... wait for it...
LOUD!!!

Seen slayer a couple times in my years. Being in the pit was fun, and not that bad. That is unless you don\'t like being randomly hit, shoved and moved in every direction at once. Yeah, ear plugs are a good idea. Just check it out before you go into it, if it looks to rough and tumble for ya stay to the side at first. Although, back in my day people looked out for each other when moshing or stage diving. Couldn\'t tell ya how it is now though. Stage diving into crowd surfing so fun. Everyone should experience it at least once in their youth.
