Title: Sound problems and crash on login

I just installed and updated Planeshift, but I seem to be having some problems.

The first problem happens when I star ps, it gives me a sound related error then starts without sound. (the messege wont let me copy it, if you need specifics let me know, i\'ll try to type them out)

The second problem is alot more severe. After i put in my email and password, it just crashes, no error messeges, just dissapears

Any tips?

i think the crash problem can be fixed by deleting the version.dat file in the PS directory, at least it fixed it for me.

the sound probelm on the other hand affects me too, and i dont know what to do about it :S

I don\'t know about the crash issue, but I had a similar error regarding sound.

Loading ./psu, not running the updater but instead launching the client directly from there bypassed it for me.

Edit:  I\'m using the .14 workaround right now.
