Once weapons can wear, tear, and break, anything about slash 3 will become dramatically rarer. Weapons of slash 6-10 and above might be reserved only for the most important of fights in the game.
Do you think that\'s enough in and of its own to solve the complaint that most battles between players end up being much too short?

It might help. Depends how rare they will be if things like crafting are introduced were I asume people will also be able to make them.
But right now there are people who can kill you with one hit. If that is reduced to one double hit I don\'t think the complaints wil dissapear ;)

Yeah, but those people are doing it with maxed out stats, using very rare weapons.
Once the stat system is refined, and once armour is in the game, thing will be different once again. I think it\'s perfectly reasonable for someone who is unarmoured, or lightly armoured, to be killed in a single hit.

Once weappons can wear, tear and brake there will be a skill named \"repair weappons\" implemented so i dout a weappon will be like a box of matches, usable a few times and then you must get another weappon.
About the duels being to short, yes it is true, but in the future, besides armour we\'ll have body developement and some stats that wil work as they should be working (will for example doesn\'t help combat at all nowdays). That would bring forth another question. The ulbernauts are the strongest beasts arround atm but even people that don\'t have such great stats or skills can kill them. I wonder what monsters will be able to kill us when we will be able to train all those skills and have all those nice weappons that we will craft for ourselves. Either the ulbers will become bigger and meaner than now, either we\'ll see people camping 2 or 3 of them (like it happened with the glads wich were almost undefeateble before).
