Title: I need an official Title
Post by: Mentak on March 15, 2006, 03:05:17 am: Can anyone (Karyuu or Arcaig) give me the title of Hydlaa Drunk, or something else. I need it to be official :3

Post by: josephoenix on March 15, 2006, 03:13:16 am: Official titles are reserved for Important People (tm). Different from important people in general, since everyone\'s important. The forum titles follow pretty much the same rules as avatars except that people who are valuable members of the community and make very good informative posts over a period of months/years may also get special titles. (For example, Kada-El has the title Tavern Queen ;])

Stick around, be helpful... one day you might get an honorary title :D

In-game, I want a Mod or Dev to say (I Dub The, Mentak Azohe, Hydlaa Drunk).... and I can wear the title proudly :P

Post by: Karyuu on March 15, 2006, 05:05:59 am: Everything in-game should be based on roleplay. As I sadly have no idea who you are in-game, I can\'t just come on as a GM and go \"Weee... I dub thee such and such\" o.O GMs are OOC, and so are devs - their only involvement in RP is running RP events, and this isn\'t done under regular GM names, or enriching current player RP, in invisible form. To summarize, GMs don\'t exist to your character.

Hydlaa Drunks have come and gone. We can\'t give out an \"official\" title to everyone who wants one :P

Post by: Karyuu on March 15, 2006, 07:29:47 am: I wouldn\'t exactly encourage using the description for any non-visual information, unless the character is actually constantly swaggering about in a drunken manner and this behavior can be picked up instantly by others.

Putting \"Hydlaa Drunk\" into your description isn\'t the best approach.

Don\'t train nothing as you can\'t understand the concepts a trainer would teach you because you are always drunk. ALWAYS talk IC and behave like you are drunk all the time and NEVER state that you are the official drunk of Hydlaa. Let people call you that. My point is that |Planeshift is a mmoRPG and in a RPG you can be whatever you want to be as long as what you want to be is in concordance with the setting. You don\'t need a GM naming you \"official drunk\". I don\'t recall anywhere in hystory the sentence \"I dub thee....\" to be used to designate a drunk ;). Goodluck and cheers ^_^.

If u wandered around saying stupid stuff (ask me i am good at it ;)) with the mugs in your hand people would recognize u as the drunk hydlaarian
