Title: Need Help!

I downloaded Planeshift from the main site, I went through the updater, updating everything fine.....When I try to open either the setup or the game it doesn\'t do anything. I read in another post that I needed to fix the permissions, through the terminal, I did that also and I still got nothing! I need help! TY!

Sorry but the updaters are not working yet just unstuff the new .dmg, and play.

Alright, thanks for the help. But I think that I am also stuck...when I try and start up the game I get \"Couldn\'t load sector. View crash logs.\" I was told to run the updater in recovery mode? How do I do this? Thanks

You don\'t. \"Don\'t run the updater\" means \"don\'t run the updater,\" period. Whoever told you that was obviously unaware that you were on a Mac. Please search and read stickies. The answer to your problem is on this forum in a thread that is on the first page. It has to do with the sewers... If that solution (which you should go find and try) doesn\'t help, I\'d delete Planeshift completely and reinstall. Please please please read stickies and search; you\'ll save yourself some time. iLock.
