i downloaded the file PlaneShift_CBV0.3.013.i686.bin
and when i go to open it i get the following error message:

\"The file name \"PlaneShift_CBV0.3.013.i686.bin\" indicates that the file is if type \"unknown\". The contents of the file indicate that the file is of type \"executable\" if you open this file, the file might present a security risk to your system.

Do not open the file unless you created the file yourself, or received from a trusted source. To open th file, rename the file to the correct extension for \"executable\", then open the file normally. Alternatively, use the Open With menu to choose a specific application for the file.\"

open a konsole or terminal,  then navitate to the directory you downloaded the .bin file into... if its your home directory you should already be there.  Then run

chmod a+x PlaneShift_CBV0.3.013-i686.bin

followed by

./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.013-i686.bin
