The solution to \"0000005E\" is updating. What version of the client are you running, 0.3.013? Is your updater version 1.1.0.0?

When I open my updater, it gives an error something to do with Dr Watson

Get the new updater from:
http://www.psmirror.org/psupdater/
extract the zip file, and your updater will be fine.

Knowing the exact error is usually very helpful; have you tried running the updater in recover mode?

I have tried all and nothing work! have somebody an idea?

Follow the instructions in this sticky (http://planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=22246&boardid=17)

I have tried to update but after then its come the same problem whit exception accecc violation!

\"Tried\" doesn\'t necessarily imply that you were successful... Did the updater finish doing its job?
At this point it seems like it would just be easier to download the new client version.

Just a note.... I haven\'t been able to get any of the executables in the program folder to run after installation. Downloaded today [ April 4, 2006 ] searched forums and found updater patch...applied as per suggestions on two systems. Both winXP Pro, one nVidia, one ATI. Did my usual gamut of diagnostics. All the executables are bailing fairly early on with fault errors that are being handled by XP. [ i. e. they all break elegantly instead of crashing the test systems :P ]. The ATI box is a fresh install of XP Pro with sp2 slipstreamed in. The nVidia box is my internet gateway and is as conservative as it gets on configuration. Will check back here and do more thorough diagnostics in a few days if the problem hasn\'t been resolved by all the other great folks on these forums.
