Title: Severs, death, update and big mess

Hi. I am running PS on a linux system (SuSE10, brand new install, ATI drivers working well).

I just started playing the game, so I went to the sewers, bold in an aura of blazing glory.

And I fell to death.

Twice.

I came here and saw the \"RUN THE #@#]&% UPDATER!\" thing.

I run the updater.
Mir1: not loading.
Mir2: stuck for half an hour. I have a 7 Mbps connection, and I don\'t think the update is 405 GB of stuff.

Ok, tried again with update.
System crash, lost even the low level commands as reboot and re-init graphics.

What can I do play PS??

Try re-downloading it. It will still have your profile and charecters just a new download.

Vazura, the thread was made in March. While I do appreciate your willingness to offer suggestions, this particular thread revival wasn't necessary, so try to avoid such in the future :}

If you search through Rogercorsair's post history, you'll notice that he made another thread in April about this, that was solved and taken care of (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=22814.msg250554#msg250554).
