Often, I vist the pages of newgrounds to look for visual inspiration. I\'ve been a member for quite some time, and frankly the work there can be stunning at times. Though most of the uploaded content is useless junk, made by those who don\'t take the artform seriously, or lack the needed inspiration to make truly stunning work, sometimes a piece truly catches me by surprise.
This following peice is one of those. I thought I would share it, simply for all the tingly feelings it gave me when I watched it :P The visuals are stunning, and the story is almost Poe-like in every quality. There is nudity, however. So, if you are under the age of consent (18 in the United States), please refrain from following the proceeding link.

That was sick. (And not in a good way.) Skinny Puppy would be proud.
I guess for flash animation, the visuals were ok.
As far as \"taking the artform seriously\".... it\'s just a medium.

The movie it self ... was depressing. :(
:D You are right though Kixie the visuals were stimulating indeed. I always liked when a picture has an odd color that stands out.
