Title: easy planeshift help
Post by: madddonkey255 on April 07, 2006, 05:16:38 pm
I\'m trying to install Planeshift using easy planeshift.  I\'ve gotten through the ./build part successfully I believe but when I run ./psrun updater -auto I got the following message.
Critical files () not found (Server only)

Now my sound for firefox doesn\'t work, not sure if this could be the cause of it but I don\'t really know much about computers.  Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Nolan

Sound is back working, don\'t know why it wasn\'t working earlier but it apparently doesn\'t have to do with this.

If you have a proxy/router/firewall, you need to tell the updater how to get through.  Read the updater sticky (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=21380&boardid=17).  You also have old mirrors listed, so you\'ll need to update those to mach the ones listed in the sticky.
