Is this y my updater is not working?

You can get 0.3.013 from our download section. Please DO NOT RUN updater for now because the mirrors still have 0.3.012 version up. ----- from site homepage

Those news are old - you should be using your updater now, definitely.

Can you please provide more detail about it \"not working\"?

my updater says no mirrors work, also recover mode does nothing when i click it...

i\'m running it with Linux and the Updater worked except some issue with the map in the deathland where i\'m seeing only black :lol:
seems that i\'ve to recreate my characater when i die :P

but a friend has installed it today under Windows XP and the Updater has destroyed his install -> Access violation error
after updating it manually (we found a thread for this anywhere here in the forum ;) ) and extracting this zip-archive it worked again...

To clarify, I was talking about the current updater.  Yes, if you run the old version it\'ll mess things up.

where do i get the new updater 1.1.0.1? i have only the old version 1.1.0.0 and this doesn\'t work.

1.1.0.1 is only available in the new package, or by building it yourself off of CVS.  My above post was made before we started the release, and is no longer valid.

At this time, NO ONE should run the updater.

Hi
I installed the new release 0.3.14 and everything seems to be working properly. When i use the updater it tells me that my updater is newer than the one on the server?. If i run the updater i cant start the game.

So when will it be safe to run the updater ?

i use winXP servicepack 2

is there anywhere a describtion how to build the new updater? its quite strange to get an updater only with the update :) thought, you should get the update via the updater and not the other way round :)

ummm... i just run the updater (newest one), it said the updater was newer than the server\'s but it updated files anyway... is this a bad thing?

i guess it was... plane shift will no longer work...

A preview of the new version of PlaneShift client is available: 0.3.014.

We already discovered few bugs in it, and we plan to re-release the full package in few days. Download the above only if you really want it :) Otherwise just wait few days and you will get the final 0.3.014.

This is only the windows installer, in the next days we will upload also new MacOSX and linux distros.

Please notice that updater IS NOT ready yet for 0.3.014, so do not use updater for now, just use the full exe given above.

Follow the instructions or face the consequences.  If you ran the updater, you\'ll need to reinstall.  The update servers still have the old version, and running the updater will essentially attempt to downgrade you, and destroy your install.
