In the GLMODE start up screen......I can\'t see any words.


I think they are either set to the wrong font or the wrong color......could someone help me out? ?(

Well, I would help you but, I\'m not... Did it ever occur to you that this is a free tech demo, we are at somewordhere to help you, and did it ever occur to you that maybe no one knows the answer, or maybe this is asked so much that we just stoped answering.

I\'m sure you really hurt everyone here\'s feelings. NOT. It\'s a tech demo, you wouldn\'t have stuck around long anyways.

to tell you the thruth I would have stuck around......its amazing I still look here to see if any new post are up any way.....I am still INTERSTED in the game........BUT I CAN\"T GET ANY HELP so I can see if the game is GOOD enough for me to stick around...

OK this is a apoloigie to everyone who has read this.....

I have been kinda PO latley at some of the people I live around.  I was taking it out on Planshift, I am sorry.....I apologizes to link, and I still wish somebody would answer my question.

If nobody answered you it\'s probably because no one else had this problem yet, and if he had it, he wasn\'t able to fix it. If no coding team guys gave you a solution, it\'s becuse they probably were not able to reproduce your problem, and so they don\'t know yet how to fix it. Just stay around here for a while, and try our next release when it comes out, to see if you still experience this problem. Also, giving more info about your system and OS can help us to better understand what may be causing the problem.

You may need to use safe mode...

But 32MB of RAM is *not* enough to play Planeshift effectively.

I tried it in safe mode and yea i can see the wrods just not in reg mode......I just cant connect.

I find it a little hard to believe what boonet says about this being a problem noone has seen before... I posted about the same error in the main tech Help section and if you look there, you\'ll see I have a 64MB video card (DDR, don\'t worry it\'s good enough), P4 1.8 GHZ, and Windows XP.... EXTREMELY different from Rantark\'s PC.  IF no developers have seen this before, apparently no developers have heard of WinTel.  Software mode is NOT useable, so someone please help both of us out!?!

The problem is that we have no solution right now other than safe mode for missing fonts.

Wait and see if it still happens in MB.  I do not think it will.

although truthfully... i can\'t connect either so let\'s get that MB out so we can all enjoy the fruits of modern programming.

note: if you have XP... ur basically screwed until MB, or so it seems  :O
