Title: Not the correct verion?
Post by: kil_of _roc on April 10, 2006, 02:08:03 am: I just downloaded Planeshift and created an account now it tells me that i am running the version of plainshift.

i am running Plainshift crystal blue 0.3.013

i realy want to try this game out

Anyway, I\'m on linux and running (obviously) the (now) older 0.3.013 version. When the update comes in the next few days will \'updater\' update everything or do I have to redownload the whole binary again? (a pain in the butt, as I am currently at school and my torrents get limited, so I download these things at the speed of slow)

Post by: DaveG on April 12, 2006, 06:35:08 am: The most recent updater has Linux binaries support. I don\'t know if it was in the last package, but I\'m sure it works in the updated one Xordan posted somewhere. Whenever we get the servers setup for it, you should be able to use it.

but, if you were to read carefully you would find that it isn\'t the update that you are downloading, but the full game. the updates _will_ be smaller, but aren\'t ready yet.

besides. so what if you downloaded it only two days ago. you just happen to have a case of poor timing, and maybe a few other things, more then anything else.
