Title: Installing on Linux???
Post by: linnerd40 on April 17, 2006, 12:01:09 am
Please help me,
I am new to PlaneShift and fairly new to Linux too. I would like to install planeshift but I have absolutely no idea how to. I am using SuSE Linux 10.0 with all the normal software installed. Please, I need step by step instructions on how to get Planeshift installed.

-Thanks!

GOT IT!!!!
I know now. After doing some trial-error things this is how to install on SuSE.

first do this (root)
a+x chmod PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin
then,
./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin

The installer starts and then PlaneShift is installed!!!!!
YEAH!!!

or you could right click the bin select properties>permissions and check the Executable box the click the .bin to run it
