Hiya! :)

You can take screenshots using the game client itself by typing the /screenshot command, or /screenshot nogui to remove all the windows and menus from your image. However, do keep in mind that the .jpg compression won\'t be the best, so if you\'re aiming for higher quality you should use the PrintScreen button on your keyboard and paste the shot into another image editing software such as Photoshop.

To clarify:
/screenshot  Makes a screenshot with all the windows
/screenshot nogui  Makes a screenshot without the windows.

edit:
Nah, Karyuu beat me to it, she\'s too fast  ;(

/screenshot nogui does not remove labels or selection circles, so be weary.

The nogui option takes a shot from the camera only, ignoring onscreen stuff.  So, it gets just whatever your camera sees and nothing else.  If you want to make it even cleaner, you can go into the options and turn off labels for a bit.

So, how long before we get screenshots in lossless formats with cinematic quality models and HDR and randomly generated foliage and a plethora of beasts to fight and areas to explore... and... yeah! Though I\'d be pretty chuffed to have  just the first one :P

Though since I requested the nogui bit I guess I have to wait a while. :P

I\'ll take a look into making format an option.

Edited to add:
Insomnia is not my friend, but today it\'s yours...  I just added a \"lossless\" option to save to PNG instead of JPG.  It makes the files a good 10 times larger, but if you want them artifact free, there you go.  ;)  (You can stick either this option or the \"nogui\" option on, or both in any order.)  It\'ll be available next update.

I thought nogui did remove labels. When you take a screenshot from an item, the label above the item (say clacker meat) doesn\'t appear on the screenshot.

edit: I tested it and the labels do appear. Sorry!  ;(
