Title: C++ runtime error
Post by: Mjalna on April 24, 2006, 02:36:05 am
I can connect to the server, but halfway through loading the world, I get an error stating that an error has occured in the C/++ runtime and that it has forced an unusual termination.

Any suggestions?

Check this (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=23024.0) thread :) Sounds like you're missing an update.

Sure thing, right after I get through the new "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000012d)" error.

EDIT: I used the Updater 1.1.1.1 and got some essential graphical updates, that should help things along.

Thanks for the help!

EDIT x2: No luck. This time, it just crapped out and gave no error code or notification at all whatsoever.

When do you exactly get again the runtime error (crash)?
Can you try to run the client with the console option and post the last lines eventually if no diagnostic file is generated?

Thanks
