Title: Updater Problems (Had .14b)

i try to run the updater and it says error updating a bunch of .cfg  and .xml files and now my pssetup, psclient, and psupdater don't work at all

See if downloading & running Cha0s's Java-based updater helps you, then.  Not sure what's going on, perhaps one of the mirrors was corrupted.

i tried that as well. same thing happened

Grrr... Try trashing everything except Updater.jar, updaterconfig.xml, and your data folder (screenshots and logs are ok to keep too). Then see if the updater works. Also, try both mirror 1 and 2.

EDIT: "Grrr..." directed at updater not working, not at you.
